I get that some will hate the cliffhanger and poor choices from writers; specially those that normally finish any series in a single gulp, without allowing some time to swallow the plot for a greater appreciation of a story; any book or series will always have errors, nothing will ever be perfect… so just take the good with the bad and hope for the best.
I enjoyed the whole story from book 1 thru 4 that i even began reading the manga(recommend it) and soon after will try getting the written books. You can notice the care taken by the author, but also the progression on the way he creates a bigger picture by providing the point of view from different characters; sure he may overdue it a few times, but it works just fine. I hope they can have the book 5-6 as soon as possible, but i have no choice that to exercise patience.
