Having thoroughly enjoyed the Crave series by Tracy Wolff, I was eagerly anticipating the chance to dive into this new series. Overall, this book was a solid read, and Iām definitely intrigued enough to continue with the series. However, I found that it didn’t quite capture my heart in the same way that Crave did. While the story had its merits, I initially struggled to connect with the characters, which made it harder to become fully invested.
Fortunately, the second half of the book took a turn for the better, ultimately boosting my impression and leading me to revise my initial rating from 3 š to 4 š. I have a strong hunch that the upcoming second installment will only get better, and I can’t wait for its release!
