I can’t really tell whether I would like the book with a different narrator. I’d like to know if I’d like the story but I might have to find free time to read this book. I’ve moved up to 1.5x speed to try to get through it and it may not be enough. She has a distinct lisp and a fairly monotonous voice.
UPDATE I finished the book on Kindle and really enjoyed it, so I needed to come back and change my star rating for the story. I’m still only giving the audio version 2 stars since I couldn’t bring myself to finish the audio book and unlike my normal habit, I won’t try to listen to it next time I go through the series, I’ll just default to the Kindle.
