Just when I didn’t think anything could top Joel Leslie’s narration of Red Dirt Heart, I started listening to RDH 2 and was proven wrong within the first chapter. First of all, his voice is to-die-for. I love hearing him bounce between Charlie’s voice and Travis’s. And his Ma simply cracks me up. I just can’t get enough of him. Joel does such a wonderful job narrating this book, I can’t help but stay in my car to hear just one more minute. And once again, he brought me to tears, between Charlie’s heartfelt declaration to Travis and Billy’s speech at the Immigration Office, I couldn’t stop the tears running down my cheeks.
