I’ve listened to all the Nava Katz books and LOVED them. The narrator was fantastic. But I am having a really hard time getting past the first chapter and it has everything to do with the narrator. I’ve listened to A Lot of books and she’s the worst by far. She’s a monotone valley girl who doesn’t speak loud enough. I listen to books while I’m doing so many different things including while in the shower. I’ve never had a problem hearing the narrator. I couldn’t hear her at all. And her inflection is flat. It’s like listening to a valley girl tell you how to hook up your tv in a monotone voice. I couldn’t take it. I will try it again but I don’t think I can get through the book which makes me sad bc I loved the whole Nava Katz series and I love this character. I hope the author finds a new narrator.
