Found this very interesting due to living in California for 30 years and the on going fires in both Southern and Central California. Have the same characters as in book one and as the author says same characters one who die but alive in the next book. The fire in the audible is much more intense than what we see today with whole of Southern California burning and no there seems no hope for the fire burning out and the death of many people and you see how people would react if they were caught in something like this some who are willing to help and others who are not and finally you see how far people will go to get away even though it takes other lives.
The beginning was a bit slow but it start to getting more interesting as the story keep going.
