C.A. Rudolph does it again.

I am a huge fan of C.A. Rudolph’s What’s Left of My World series so I was excited to see he was coming out with a new series, and while this series falls into same genre they are quite different, especially when it comes to main characters. No spoilers but for the most part the book focuses on two groups who are dealing with society breaking down as terrorists try to kickoff the apocalypse, one focusing on a badass husband/wife duo, and another on a prepper family. While the two stories don’t really intersect until the very end and then only minutely, both are fascinating and I can’t wait to see where C.A. takes the story in the next volume. The book in loaded with interesting characters and tons of action.

As always Kevin Pierce delivers a excellent performance, once again showing why he is THE voice of survival fiction.
