There is something about this series that has captured my attention and my heart. The characters jump off the page and their development throughout the series is honest and realistic. I have both read the print version and listened to the audible versions. As always Kevin Pierce knocks it out of the park, he brings the characters to life in a way that doesn’t often happen for me if I’ve previously read a book. I hope that I never have to survive in a SHTF situation but if I do, I pray I have even an fraction of courage shown by Lauren. It is so refreshing to see a strong, confident lead female character that can also show a vulnerable side. Well done Mr. Rudolph. Now, please hurry and get the next installment out!
