With a name like ‘The Fetishists’ you might assume this book would push some boundaries. You would still be surprised by how it crosses the line by about 500 miles, kills the line, and then dances on it’s corpse (not a spoiler btw). You spend 5 hours (which still seems long based on the subject matter) listening as things start odd or weird and spiral out of control in a chaotic tornado of depravity. Even that doesn’t feel enough to describe it, but if that sounds like fun you’ll find no better.
Narration was alright, but the narrator deserves credit for being able to hold it together through a story like this.
