Jenn D. Young delivers more awesomeness in this second novel of her “Shadows Ascending Trilogy”. She created a fascinating world filled with equally fascinating characters comprised of a variety of paranormal beings, Angels, Demons and Vampires. This is a fast paced, action packed story that contains a lot of details, she easily keeps up the great momentum she started in the first book as we learn more about the two lead characters, Lorelei and Vincent. The plot continues to thicken as we get more details about what is going on in their world and who is behind it and why. No spoilers here and I will only say wow and I can not wait to see what happens next for them and their world. I am loving and rooting for Lorelei and Vincent, the secondary characters, their support team are great too. This book is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, once you start the book you will not want to put it down. Jenn D. Young thank you for another amazing story, I loved every minute of it.

And for the wonderful narration, Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige continue to do an awesome job portraying the characters, giving each their own distinct voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. Sarah Puckett plays the perfect Lorelei, she took that role and made it her own. Tim Paige did the same for Vincent, he did was great voicing his demon too. Both were great performing the voices for the secondary characters as well as covering the other’s role in alternating chapters. These mega talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen?
