I own a successful small business which I acquired in 2007 from the original owner. His business philosophy was to financially succeed at the employee’s expense and make business decisions based on the bank account balance.
With an accounting and sales background, I have succeeded through a better understanding of the language of business.
However, I have now hit my ceiling of moving on or moving forward. To move forward requires the deliberate implementation of structure, accountability, having the “right people of the bus, in the right seats”.
Enter Traction…a business operating system that, when implemented and adhered to, will move any business forward. If I had to use one word to describe this business philosophy, it would be “accountability”. This system has debunked many of my ill found beliefs, primarily that most employees DO want to be held accountable when their job description is clear and align the company’s core values.
This is not just another business management book. This is a movement that utilizes onsite facilitators that work with your leadership team over an appropriate two (2) year period.
I have first hand knowledge of business owners, large and small, who have changed their business fortune, literally and figuratively, by using Traction to maximize their business value when pursuing an exit strategy.
I embrace this journey.
