Ryden is a closeted gay prince hiding his identity while going to college in the US. Ajax is his out gay bodyguard. The attraction between them is instantaneous, so how can they keep their relationship professional? And if they give in to their feelings, will Ajax become blinded by emotion and put Ryden at risk?
This book is for readers who enjoy royal romance or the brat/bodyguard trope. For me, though, the best part of the novel was the suspense plot. That’s where Ajax really had a chance to shine.
The audio book was well done. There wasn’t a huge amount of differentiation between the character voices, but there was enough.
I received a free audio code from Gay Romance Reviews. This is my honest and voluntary review.
