This is another excellent Boyd Craven book! He is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. His characters are well developed. His plot lines are complex yet not overly jumbled. Every book has that “Don’t want to put it down” quality.
Wesley Flagg, the protagonist is a moonshiner and a really likeable person. Before we ever get to the CME we get a really great story about his family business and how he progresses in making ends meet. I almost regretted the CME as I was really enjoying Wesley’s story and wanted more. I only had one question. Is Raider from the same litter as Opus?
Kevin Pierce, the narrator did another excellent job voicing the characters and breathing life into the story.
This was a really great story and I would recommend buying it.
