I loved this series, for the most part. Some scenes were difficult to listen to but were necessary for the story so I didn’t fault the author for that. The way the author draws parallels between the state of our world today and the prophecies in Revelations is terrifying because it’s entirely possible, and there are so many things that have occurred slowly, little by little, over the past few decades that I hadn’t even noticed until it was pointed out in this book.
I saw that there are reviews that trash the series for the use of Bible Scripture and prayer. This both makes me sad and scares me a little bit. These comments are alarmingly similar to the ideals espoused by the GR folks in this series – aka, the bad guys – and yet this is completely lost on people.
