I didn’t think I’d like this or Eversea when I first heard the narrator, realized I needed to speed up the narration and then it was smooth sailing and able to actually hear the story. the story was well thought out in how it revealed life of Jack, not forced or expected for some parts. there was revenge and intrigue and a person who wanted to remain just a girl, not a spotlight. this second book-I think female narrator has a cold so several times you could tell there are dub over that do not connect the original tonation and cadence from sentence to sentence, which is a producing error, but still was able to listen to the story without allowing it to detract me too much. Beautiful story line, would make a great hallmark movie or something.
