The book started off good enough to try and overcome how annoying the female narrator’s depiction of the characters accents is but after a few hours, it’s just boring. I listened for about 2 or 3 hours longer than I wanted, hoping it would pick up back up but there’s 4 1/2 hours left and I just can’t finish. The female narrator makes it worse, she has this weird semi Italian New Yorker accent for the characters… it’s super weird to listen to a sista go off on somebody sounding like an Italian New Yorker. The Male narrator is cool.
