I honestly can’t tell if it’s a subpar story or the way the narrator reads it, but this book & series reads like a 5th grader wrote them. There are more intriguing parts that keep your attention in the story, but the dialogue is extremely basic and the narrator brings no life to the characters. Overall, the whole series feels like a rough draft.
