Books 1-3 so far.
The over-explanation of military jargon, tactics and equipment make the book series friendly to newbies but gets tiring to hear. The described personal history with overly spoken modesty and boomer era bro speak, meant to convey bravery and selflessness, make it feel like a soap opera quality of writing that only older generations would get excited for. Feels a lot like a bootlicker’s story.
Overall, decent story with useful advice that I would still recommend. Preparedness is becoming more commonplace, as it should, and these types of stories will help.
