This is another author that paints the characters as too stupid to live and dumber than bricks. But I guess it’s a handy way of setting up a situation where the bad guy doesn’t necessarily need to be very smart to launch an attack. I love the dog theme in this book series, with a highlight on the different talents and abilities of each dog in the series, but this is another author that I’ll pass on in the future.
