A perfect office romance read / listen. While this is book 5 in Carr’s Wilder Irish series – it’s the first I’ve read / listened to and can easily be read / listened to as a stand alone – although if your like me you’ll want to go back and listen to them all! Well written and perfectly narrated. Carr does an amazing job with this storyline as well as our main characters Lochlan and May – speaking of characters – narrators Daniels and Brown were perfect for this narration and really brought these characters to life. Love a dual narration and these two did a fantastic job! Both of our main characters are stubborn to a fault and I absolutely fell in love with them both. May is just trying to survive and provide for her family day to day and Lochlan has no desire for forever’s or a family until he meets her and the chemistry is instant, although he does do a valent job of trying to deny it when circumstances reveal May’s true strength Lochlan can no longer deny his feelings. Love the light BDSM, a perfect balance of sweet and steam and a beautiful HEA! Can’t wait to see what’s next in this series and for this family!
