I can’t put my finger on it, but for some reason I felt this book was off.
I am not sure why. I am not sure if it was the writing, or the characters. I Had a bit of a hard time Liking the main character at first. Tho I loved the two girls, and I love to the grandmother, but I had a hard time bonding with the main character.
This story was fast paced. so much so, that it didn’t really go into detail about much. which I was a little bummed about that. I’d like to know more about certain scenarios etc..
With that being said, I liked the book and will more then likely get the second one.
The performance in this book was excellent. As always Kevin Pierce did an excellent job, and helped me through the rough times in the book.
There was also a female narrator that I do not see credited. She was awesome. I loved her southern drawl. I know I’ve heard her in other books but I cannot think of her name.
