This is book 1 in Summers / Gray’s Cruel Secrets duet and fair warning does end in a cliffhanger. A well written and perfectly narrated dark romance full of danger, suspense, twists and turns as well as alpha protection and steamy chemistry. Our main characters are Caspian and Willow who grew up together and as children were the best of friends, only for secrets and betrayal to rip them apart. Now they are both in college and have found their connection / addiction only to know that nothing, but trouble can come if they are together…however will they both keep their lives much less find a HEA?!? Mafia, secret society, and danger surround these two, their families and friends. I can’t wait to see what’s to happen next?
