Tom Abrahams has taken on a Nuclear Holocaust in thisAlt Apocalypse. It would be very easy to get so bogged down in the horrific reality of this scenario that you could lose the opportunity for a story. He does not. Characters and story lines are developed and progress and a good pace. However, you do not ever lose the reality that most people are not going to come out well from this event. I look forward to meeting the character again in the next Apocalypse. I think the concept for this series is unique and will be quite entertaining. As always Kevin Pierce elevates the prose and draws you into the story. He can’t be beat! This is a book worth trying!
