Fated mates, Holden and Nash, definitely don’t have it easy in this story. While this is book 4 in the Blackwater Pack Series it is the first book I have read/listened to in the series and it could be read as a standalone. I have heard the narrator before and I think his skill has advanced.
I had a hard time in the beginning of the book because I had an issue with one of the MC’s. Nash was such a jerk I didn’t like him. In fact I felt protective of Holden. I did feel like Nash redeemed himself by the end of the book. I hope the author takes this as a compliment that is intended because they were able to make me have opposing feelings for each MC in the beginning and they were able to turn it around by the end of the story.
