Set in the middle of a Black Ops mission, Colby Winters steps out if his comfort zone to save an innocent woman who got caught in the crosshairs of his supposedly cut and dry mission.
Mia Kensington is all too familiar with the negative effects of military life and has made a career out of easing the impact for military families. Unfortunately, she took her need to right the wrongs a little too far when she went to retrieve vital information for a dead patient.
Winters saves Mia, but as the danger gets closer and the stakes get higher, so does their attraction to each other. Now it’s a race against time and a South American Cartel hot on their trail for him to get Mia and the Intel to safety. Winters must keep a clear and level head to complete the mission and keep the girl.
There us no doubt that this story had an action-packed plot. When it was finally time for the romance, it brought sizzle and heat.
Jeffrey Kafer was the embodiment of a Military-style narrator. He was exactly what this story needed to bring out the gravity of the situation and still maintain a sexy undertone.
