I can be a tough pill to swallow looking at one’s personal motives. The Elephant in the Brain shows us some interesting psychological aspects of ourselves. A con being it got kind of repetitive so would have to switch books before coming back to it. This can make it hard to follow but the authors bring it back around every chapter. Hence the repetitiveness that makes it hard to listen straight through but make it a great psych companion book for works from Haidt, Pinker, Peterson, or Saad.
