I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This book was a lot of fun. At first, you don’t have any idea of what’s going on, the same as the characters. All any of you know is that there’s been some catastrophe and things are going downhill fast. Then Roger and Savannah run into their first dinosaur and things go from bad to worse. This is a very short book, nice for a long car ride but well worth the trip. There’s a lot of drama, some good humor and a lot of "wtf is going on?" but I enjoyed all of it. In such a short time you come to care for some of the characters, I even was upset when some didn’t make it. Others I was very glad they didn’t make it. I want to know what happened, why everything is going the way it is. Granted, Savannah’s vision/dream probably does explain it but we don’t know for sure. I want to find out what happens after, do the people survive going up against all the dinosaurs? I wish there was another book. The narrator does a great job of bringing the characters alive, making the voices different enough that you don’t have too much trouble figuring out who is talking. Overall, a fun quick book well worth a listen.
