I like big books and I cannot lie. Typically I go for length, like at least 12 hours. So a 6ish hour book didn’t really entice me. However, I’d really been wanting to “read” something by C.T. Phipps and you can’t ever go wrong with a Jeffrey Kafer performance. Wow!!! I’m so glad I got over my length issue and dove into this book. Phipps packs a punch with this story and he reeled me in immediately. The story is crammed full of constantly moving story driven by interesting and engaging characters. G is compelling and some how I got sucked into rooting for an assassins and bad guys. I was sad when it ended but not disappointed. Phipps obviously knows when to walk away from the keyboard and not fluff up a story just for length. I’m diving into the next book immediately and not judging by length this time. Apparently small packages really can be entertaining.
