Fans of books like Monster Hunter International will find much to like here. It’s not overly complicated or sophisticated. Although I could have used a score card to keep track of all the other-wordly things/ monsters/ elder gods.
A lot of big action, tough guy talk and post-apocalypse adventure that’s more Fallout than Mad Max.
The narrator does a good job but doesn’t quite fit the main character.
