This book hit every note the first did, while adding to it. One of my favorite bits is the way conflict resolution within the town goes. Some things are a bit cliché, but at least they don’t all end with, “well, this guy was rude to the protagonist. They’re only going to be seen as an enemy from everyone but the rest of the story’s antagonists.”

The author wasn’t half bad as a minor VA either. Wish more people would try to get a bit more involved with their work in ways like this. He honestly sounded like he had fun.
