I’m glad I went ahead and gave book 2 a try, I was on the fence about book 1.
pros: great narration, just like book 1
-new characters and better development
-much more tower fighting, and tower explanation (most important for me)
-more town/world building
– more in depth in general
cons: I would like it to be a little dirtier, doesn’t need to be scandalous, just a little more adult would be nice. Not a big enough deal to stop me from buying book 3 though lol
