This fantastic next entry to the series is honestly perfect. It has the perfect balance of RPG, PVP, Grinding, RTS, and great believable story!
What I love most about this series is nothing unbelievable, or added simply to make him win, is sprung up on you out of the blue. For instance, when he’s in impossible situations you can pause it and think critically about his options and skills and see the possible ways out. Nothing that happens to Oran or anything he’s done is held back for a dramatic win, and he does not win or lose because of something that you were never told. This is what makes this better than Chaos Seeds, which was my first entry into the genre. The writing is more refined and the ideas are more fleshed out, and you’re not left in the dark about what the character you’ve been following for 20 hours did 10 hours ago. That’s just lazy and unimaginative writing.
That said Chaos Seeds is still a great series and you should read that too!
The added narrators is a huge bonus, and better differentiate the characters and is done perfectly. Highly recommend this series and can’t wait for next book!!!
