Have you ever read (or in this case listened to) a story that reminded you of multiple stories but in a way that seems to flow seamlessly together? I had no idea that this was the kind of story I was hoping for when I played the game Starfield, or that it would leave me wanting a game/series made in this universe. The action and intrigue flow across an area of general religious Sci-fi and anime action, with bits of story that allow the mind to contemplate our own real world. I was already a fan of some of the other works of J.S. Morin, but this was my first interaction with Larkin’s work and I was not at all disappointed! This series is well worth the read or listen, and I personally look forward to any more stories that may come from this series!
