I needed something to listen to on a flight so got this 3 book story. The first book was kinda slow but the second two were pretty good. They actually surpassed my expectations for them. I like the time traveling components of the stories. They are handled very well. I didn’t find any glaring issues or inconistancies with them and the author makes sure to tie up loose ends created by some of the time travel which is good. Granted I figured out “who done it” well before the reveal but the stories were still enjoyable because there was always some twist that I didn’t anticipate. I am not sure the narrator is the voice of the protagonist. I have a different voice in my head for the protagonist. But the characters were all believable and this is some good PI story fare. I look forward to the next book in the series.
