I really liked the premise, right amount of scientific explanations and I enjoyed the wit. But a part of me felt like there were multiple instances of Woke-wash which I’m guessing happens by the publishing house. While annoyingly expected in terms of character demographics, the instances I’m referring to are how it clearly limited the witty dialogue and actions of the lead character. Kinda like a woke version of of a wannabe Die Hard John McClane which fell short to me. The bigger paradox here is how lame the “edgy” lead character is
