I love the character and the way the author wields him like a scalpel of sarcasm. That is what makes these books better than the actual story and it surprises me that I see reviews criticizing it, when the author plainly spells it out at every chance he gets. Dont get me wrong, the stories have been good, but that is just an added benefit. Then there is the narration, I can honestly say I have never heard anything like what happens during this book and I have listened to audiobooks in quantity since the cassette tape days, not only did Jeffrey do a great job as always but between him and the author, came up with something original as well as amusing. Bottom line this is either going to amuse you or annoy you, I dont see much middle ground, but to the authors credit he does give fair warning…
