While this series has had a threat to multiple universes since it started, I didn’t really feel the pressure until this book. I’ve enjoyed seeing the world built up, and the floors in the tower are usually pretty creative, but the thing that happened after the separation was a fantastic way of inserting loss into a story without just killing our maiming someone. Can’t wait to keep going with this series
