I am a fan of true crime books, so I’ve listened to more than a few.

First of all, the narrator is Kevin Pierce. He is one of the best, so that alone is a reason to listen.

This book was really interesting. Each chapter deals with an innovative way to search for a clandestine grave, then follows it up up with a surprisingly detailed story of a true case that used this technology. Many of these cases may not have been enough to warrant their own book, but was truly fascinating to hear.

One nice aspect… this book was written in 2002, but it was updated in 2015. Each chapter has an epilogue following up on that case in the 13 years since original publishing.

If you enjoy true crime, I highly recommend this book. It was very entertaining and and still educational, which can be applied to other stories.
