I started reading a lot within this genre 10 years ago. I’ve read many good books by a lot of great authors. Even several by Franklin Horton. This was shockingly good. What is it that sets it apart from others? in my opinion, it’s full of unexpected twists and turns. Most of it is very realistic. I found myself smiling at times and my stomach in knots at other times. This series Has multiple subplots that interweave with one another seamlessly. This was the fastest 30 hour audiobook I’ve ever enjoyed. And you can never go wrong with Kevin Pierce as the narrator.
