My daughter and I have listened to all of these books more than once. It’s not necessarily the story and all the crazy stuff that happens, it’s the lessons on how life really is in the flash backs. It’s how a father should be with his daughter. The violence and language might not be for everyone but that’s the way life really is. Just watch the news. It’s not all puppy dogs and roses. It should be very scary for any man who has a daughter. As much as I wish I could do what Allen does for his daughter in this book I do what I can and have used a lot of this info. I know that it’s just a book and that probably (at least not in my lifetime) this won’t happen. But it’s more about prepping for life and self awareness.
