As these stories build on each other they just keep getting better and better. Lizzie and Jay are great, and I love how their relationship unfolds. Their fun, playful banter is so sweet and is something I love when authors make a part of relationships. It’s so much more than heat and steamy scenes (which don’t get me wrong, are great), and makes it feel much more real. And not to mention the side characters, whom I am increasingly growing more and more attached to. Balthazar, Luc, Alec, heck even pizza crazy Jacques, they’re all so much fun!!
The added bonus of weaving the prior couples into the story felt very seamless. The Stas and Isaac story is breaking my heart, but I know it’s not over. Looking forward to their story continuing in the future books as well.
The narration is fantastic as well. Sarah Puckett does a fantastic job with all characters, male and female. And Troy Duran, well he could probably read the phone book and it would melt hearts. Definitely a great listen.
