I was hesitant to grab this one. My luck with litrpg has been sketchy lately. This one, this one was great! I love how this guy envisions god like power and has the ability to coherently, and concisely describe what’s happening with his characters. This guy must have a spread sheet with all the character skills, power ups, and abilities. I swear that his screens for each character are consistent; consistent enough anyway to forgive. His imagination and delivery is something to behold. Every ability is thoughtful, in that when it doesn’t make sense there’s not a ton of backtracking, or too many excuses as to why they just suddenly can be a planet or other outrageous things. There’s not much to complain about, frankly I think Heath Miller would have been a better voice actor choice for this series, he’s got a bit more… pizzaz when it comes to the extraordinary. Not to say that I don’t like this narrator, not at all; this guy has grown on me. He reminds me of a grandparent telling a bedtime story, his voice is just pleasant to listen to. When he swears I giggle a little in my head. I’d compare it to an old lady swearing in a movie, it’s almost unexpected.

Okay that was thorough, I’d simply say that Ivan Kal just keeps climbing with this series. I’m certain I’ve raved about each one of these books since inception, consistent and thoughtful. Well played.
