This really hit all the points a good LitRPG needs. The character development was great, and really only focused on the two main characters, so it wasn’t to watered down. The world building was neat, but with the dungeon changing every floor, it allowed for great versatility in the story. The game rules like mana points and stuff were set, but there was also so much of it that you would never know about all the other things out there. This also gave freedom to do different things without it feeling like it was breaking the rules or being cheap. The game math was there, but it was overall pretty light so it didn’t bog the story down.
honestly, this was really great. I love the relationship between Carl and Doughnut. The action is written well, and I just don’t really have any negatives to say about this book.
If you like LitRPG, this is a must read
