Yup, I do what Jeff does.
Because of this, I actually can’t listen to many audiobooks because my ears are too trained to hear mistakes. This throws me out of the story.
I finally took a listen to one of Jeff’s series. WOW. Not only were there no mistakes to break immersion but the story is fantastic and the extras Jeff subtly weaves in just take this to another level.
The characters are colourful and likeable, even those who aren’t initially. They grow on you and become beloved.
This is also my introduction to LitRPG. I don’t know how I didn’t discover it sooner. I’ve been a gamer since they loaded via cassette tapes! So, this story having a gaming flavour just made it so much better.
Matt and Jeff have brought us superb escapism here.
I can’t stop listening. I just started book four last night!
