The author wondered if he could write a post-apocalyptic work that would be believable. Wow!! Wonder no more! One of the most riveting things I’ve ever encountered that left me gripping the steering wheel of my car, reaching for Kleenex, or raising my fist in celebration as the story moves from character to character, scene to scene. If you are a realist, survivalist, or just what to wander off into another place and time… this is it. Must warn you, tho’ the place and time isn’t SO far distant, which makes this all the more compelling. What would you do; what would happen in your life/world if six months from now we have no electricity and no way to communicate with anyone beyond those in your immediate vicinity or those who knock on your door in the ‘name’ of help/survival? AND… there’s no apparent end to fix it????
