I lost patience with this book series when it turned out to be another story with a cliché pedantic, self-centered super-saviour figure in a plot full of testosterone and annoying female characters (apologies if the problem is, that I was not patient enough to hear on to the point this would have changed). Also, why is it that female lead figures always have to be agreeable to the eyes, insecure, proclaimed intelligent and admired, but then behave as jealous or/and flirtatious bitches? Does this by any chance magically change when they find a boyfriend? Sorry, I may have too high expectances for a fantasy novel.
