Narrator Joel Leslie finally delivered the long awaited, knee-slapping third book of the “In Darkness” series. OMG, he knows exactly how and where to be a joker, a lover and hilariously ludicrous. (He can be serious as well ?) Of course, he won the Best All Time MM Narrator on the Goodreads MM Romance Members Choice Awards 2020!
Author Alice Winters has the ingenious ability to create humor and suspense in one paragraph. Her writing style calls to the honesty and the bare emotions of physical and emotional pain, while she subtly make it real and then for some fucking sick reason I find it hysterically funny. Lane is blind and Felix handles him with no sensitivity or tenderness. The two have an understanding, their relationship is symbiotic and compatible. Only, they know how to balance their scales between harshness and mutual fondness. With an unbreakable love as the supporting beam.
I am nominating this series for a Blue Encore. It is definitely a re-listen series.
I definitely recommend this audiobook. It is full of humor and suspense. It lifts the mood and is an gripping original MM romance.
