This ‘random mash-up’ of stuff Barry seemingly couldn’t fit into his stories is a shameless cash grab. He is obviously attempting to get even more money from fans by providing further insights into our favorite characters in a way that would distract from the main story in an actual novel. These short stories are a perfect way to get such extra character detail, and I hope he has more unused material in a drawer or folder somewhere.
