I thoroughly enjoyed this tale of beings created for purposes out of their control. The characters cannot change their instinctual natures but started a love before becoming opposing forces. To prevent war, bargains are made, lives are sacrificed and timed challenges are issued. Until the inevitable comes to pass despite efforts to thwart it and the enemies to lovers deal with a final choice.
