This book is really bad. I have no idea how it has such a high rating. The dialog is really written poorly, almost as if it was translated from another language. The narrator in mono-tone. I made it roughly 3 hours before giving up. This was lining up to be your typical “orphaned boy is trained by sword master” story.
I’ve listened to 300ish books on audible, and this is only the 2nd I’ve ever stopped and returned.
